Shift Manager

£35,000 p/a, Mon to Fri, 3 shift rotation, Progression opportunities, pension, new site renovations, free parking, training opportunities.

We are recruiting for Shift Supervisor on behalf of our client who are a leading manufacturer in the Rotherham area. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, this growing business offers a stable working environment and excellent opportunities for development within the production sector. You will oversee and manage a team of 15, reporting directly into the Head of Manufacturing, your duties will include:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Demonstrate hands-on experience operating and supporting printing machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and production delays
• Ensure all operational procedures and production processes are consistently followed
• Support and train team members on best practices, machine operation, and standard operating procedures

The successful Shift Supervisor will have a:

• Previous experience in a Supervisory or Team leading role
• Background within manufacturing preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Shift Supervisor, Night Shift Supervisor, Shift Manager, Production Team Leader or a Team Leader within a manufacturing or production environment.

Easily accessible for candidates living in or around the Rotherham, Sheffield or Barnsley area. Benefits include:

• £35,000 per annum.
• 3 shift rotation (week 1: 6am - 2pm Week 2: 2pm - 10pm Week 3: 10pm - 6am)
