Our client, a reputable sports turf contractor, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cricket Grounds Person to join their team in the Worksop region.

About the Role:
As a Cricket Grounds Person, you will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of cricket pitches and surrounding grounds. This hands-on role requires someone with proven experience in cricket grounds maintenance, particularly in match preparation and maintaining playing surfaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing cricket pitches for matches.
• Rolling, brushing, scarifying, and general square maintenance.
• Marking out wickets and match areas.
• Carrying out match day preparation works.
• Supporting pitch set-up and post-match works.
• Assisting with end-of-season renovations where required.

Requirements:
Essential -

• Proven experience in cricket grounds maintenance.
• Confident with match preparation tasks.
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable travelling between multiple cricket sites.

Desirable -

• Experience with end-of-season cricket renovations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good attention to detail and pride in pitch presentation.
