About the Role:

  • Oversee the accurate receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter and verify stock availability upon acceptance.
  • Prepare and label prescriptions promptly and accurately, ensuring they are ready for pharmacist.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with prescriptions.
  • Confirm patient identity and provide guidance on how to use prescribed medication, where appropriate.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, including prescription endorsements and register entries.
  • Dispense medication into monitored dosage systems or compliance aids when needed.
  • Manage the ordering, collection, and delivery of repeat prescriptions, ensuring records are kept and patient consent is obtained.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, order necessary items, and ensure proper stock rotation.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong commitment to patient care and community values.
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
