The Role

As an HGV Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers' fleets remain safe, compliant, and operational.Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Performing inspections in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards
Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Repairing, assembling, and replacing vehicle components
Welding and fabrication work when required
Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship
Delivering excellent customer service and technical support

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar role
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Experience using modern workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
A proactive, problem-solving approach
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
The ability to work independently and as part of a professional team

Pay: £52,500.00-£55,000.00 per year

Experience:
HGV: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
NVQ Level 3 HGV (preferred)

Work Location: In person
