HGV Mechanic

HGV Mechanic (day shift) Shepherd Distribution Services - Sheffield S12 2AX.

Currently running a fleet of MAN, Volvo and DAF vehicles + 30 trailers.

Shepherd Distribution Services are looking to recruit an experienced day shift Technician to work Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday mornings for cover.

Start and finish times can be negotiated to suit candidates needs.

The ideal candidate will be.

Able to work on their own initiative and have pride in their work.
Experienced in carrying out inspection, service and mot preparation.
Capable of small to medium repairs and small accident damage repairs.
A minimum level 3 qualification in heavy vehicle maintenance.
Class 1 or 2 licence would be an advantage.
Health and safety aware.
Reliable.
Good communicator.

In return we are offering good rates of pay paid weekly, 4 weeks paid holiday per year + bank holidays. Overalls, boots and PPE provided.

Salary: Circa £44k - 50k /year.
