IT Field Team Lead

Role: IT Field Team LeadLocation: Bradford - Hybrid (WFH, Office & Field) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Summary:

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a hands-on IT Team Lead to join a growing and fast-paced Managed Services provider. You'll take ownership of a small team responsible for their service delivery and whilst maintaining a technical ability to get hands on as an additional resource where needed. You will often act as an escalation point for other engineers and coordinate field resources effectively from the central office in Bradford.

The Role:

As the IT Field Team Lead, you'll manage a team of engineers delivering the end-to-end lifecycle of client's environments, from build and configuration to managing and maintaining their environments. You'll take ownership of workflow, prioritise tasks in line with SLA agreements, and ensure timely delivery. The role combines people leadership, technical delivery, and process improvement, ideal for someone who enjoys staying hands-on while managing a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a small team of IT Field Engineers.
• Managing incoming workload and scheduling deployments in line with SLAs.
• Building and configuring Windows/macOS laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets
• Managing onboarding and leavers process, ensuring device readiness and security compliance.
• Improving internal service delivery processes, documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite, Windows Server.
• Experience with device Networking - Telephony, VOIP, Cabling and hardware builds (RAM/SSD upgrades, etc.)
• Team Leadership Experience Across Service Desk / Field Engineering Teams
• Enhanced DBS Clearance
• Previous MSP or IT Services background (desirable)
