Part-time Bookkeeper

System & Technical Solutions Ltd, a control systems integration company, which provides design and manufacturing control solutions across a number of industries, is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join the team.

The successful candidate will work approximately 15 hours per week over 3 or 4 days and be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of the accounting processes.

Main job responsibilities include:

• Processing sales and purchase invoices, bank payments and receipts using Sage 50 accounting software
• Conducting bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Managing payroll using Sage Payroll software
• Processing and paying expense claims
• Generating management reports
• Preparing year-end financial statements
• Administrative duties

Skills/Qualifications:

• Preferably AAT qualified
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within finance or accounting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll

Pay rate:

• £15 - £20 per hour
