Subject Lead- History

We're looking for a dedicated and ambitious Subject Lead for History to join our team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities of this position involve the following:

• Leading and managing the History department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Developing and implementing an engaging and challenging curriculum that excites and inspires students
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
• Analysing data to monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
• Promoting a love of history throughout the school and wider community

Requirements for this role:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History
• Have proven experience in teaching History at all key stages, including GCSE and A-Level
• Be an outstanding practitioner with a deep subject knowledge and a passion for your subject
• Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
• Be committed to raising attainment and providing the best possible education for all students
