As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting our digital marketing activities, learning practical skills while studying towards a recognised qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in marketing, working on real campaigns that attract, engage, and inspire our audiences.
This is initially a Fixed Term role for a period of 2 years to cover the completion of the apprenticeship.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across the College’s digital platforms (website, email and Intranet).
- Create and schedule content for social media, email marketing and blogs.
- Support the management and scheduling of content
- Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital platforms
- Conduct market and competitor research to support campaign planning
- Help maintain and update marketing materials and databases
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency
- Undertake training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship program

Education & Training
- GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
- GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
- Eligible to undertake an apprenticeship program in the UK
Experience
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital tools
- A genuine interest in marketing, advertising, and communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and a creative mindset
