SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant in Bradford to start as soon as possible! The position would become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistants in a dedicated and nurturing specialist school in BD21. The school prides itself on making learning fun and enjoyable for all children and ignites inclusivity across the board.

The role would consist of supporting children with additional / complex needs on a 1:1 basis including the following:

• Autism
• ASD
• ADHD
• Behavioural needs

The ideal candidate

These roles are open to candidates who have some background knowledge around supporting children with the above or similar complex needs. An ideal candidate will:

• Be a fantastic team player
• Have some knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Have some background experience supporting children with SEN needs
• Have some experience within a school or educational setting
• Have a passion for creating the best possible outcomes for children
• Show initiative and be proactive in making decisions
• Be able to build strong and professional relationships with adults and children
