SEND teaching assistant

Bradford Primary seeks a SEND Teaching Assistant for girl with global development delay and mild epilepsy.

Are you a learning support assistant with experience of working with SEND children? If you are an SEND specialist, or have strengths being a learning support assistant for children with global development delay or epilepsy, this is the role for you!

A Bradford Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a girl in Year 2 with global development delay and epilepsy - to start asap.

Day to day for this learning support assistant role:

• Supporting with mobility around the school
• First Aid during daily (mild) seizures and after care
• Supporting child with learning activities
• Supporting child with communicating

As a learning support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with her timetable. The pupil will require occassional personal care and first aid.
