We have a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated Senior Leadership Team as the Director of Funding, Data & Information.
The Director of Funding, Data & Information will be the senior leader responsible for cross-college funding, data, and information. The successful candidate will serve as a role model for the values and behaviours expected at Bradford College, coaching and mentoring Heads of Departments to deliver an outstanding experience for both students and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Vice Principal of Finance & Corporate Services to develop strategic and operational action plans that drive maximisation of funding, high quality IT infrastructure and the delivery of management information across the college
- Working with Senior Leaders to develop and implement effective information services and reporting systems and structures that inform financial funding position and equip curriculum and support areas with the correct information to deliver strategic objectives and effective business plans
- Developing and implementing an information action plan providing accurate and timely information to inform decision making across the college.
- Supporting the Vice Principal Finance and Corporate Services to develop, and deliver an effective Digital Transformation Strategy.
- Ensuring that the College audit and funding returns are accurate and clean
- Designing and implementing robust business planning and monitoring models
- Introducing interactive dashboards for the College and Heads of Department to support and improve business planning and achievement of targets
- Ensuring the provision of consistent high quality data to underpin all audits (financial, Ofsted, ILRs)
- Providing high quality data analysis to support decision making at all levels
- Accountable for all ILR data to maximise quality and current and future funding for the College
- Advising and supporting the CEO and the Executive as required.

Education & Training
- GCSE 4-9 (A*- C) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent. (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A – C)
- Degree or Level 6 professional qualification in Computer Science or IT-related subject or relevant experience
- Leadership & Management Qualification (Level 5) or willingness to work towards one
Experience
- Significant industry or commercial experience. (FE funding etc.)
- Experience in business planning
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience of working with the FE Commissioner/ESFA
- Demonstrable experience of using core systems – Tribal EBS, Pro Monitor, Pro Observe
- Experience managing funding audits and associated risks, working with internal and external auditors at the senior level.
