Key Requirements

• Previous Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in a school, youth work, or coaching setting).
• A commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

• Exceptional Classroom Management techniques.
• High level of Adaptability and Flexibility across diverse subjects and age groups.
• Outstanding Verbal Communication and clear instruction giving.
• Strong Behaviour Management and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent Organisational Skills and timekeeping.
• Proven ability to demonstrate Resilience and Composure under pressure.

• Supervise Whole Classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher.
• Deliver Pre-Prepared Lesson Materials as set by the absent teacher.
• Manage Classroom Behaviour effectively, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment.
• Promote Student Engagement and encourage task completion.
• Respond to Student Queries to support their understanding of the pre-set work.
• Report Back Accurately to the regular teacher on work covered, student progress, and any notable issues.
• Implement the School's Behavioural Policy fairly and consistently.
• Ensure the Safety and Welfare of students in the classroom at all times.
• Complete Basic Administrative Tasks related to the lesson, such as taking the register.
• Maintain a Tidy and Organised Classroom environment upon lesson completion.
