Cars2 are a highly successful motor retailer based in West and South Yorkshire. We have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several of the world's leading motor brands, including Hyundai, SEAT, Renault, Dacia, OMODA, JAECOO, MG & Nissan. We also opened our first Prestige used car center in early 2018 and have further plans for expansion in the near future.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our team . This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings.

Salary up to£49k OTE (Based on experience and certifications, levels apply)

The Role
Will carry out a range of work including internal vehicle preparation, servicing, and MOT testing.
The Person
For this role, we are looking for someone who preferably but not essentially has experience in a franchised dealership with the following skills:
. IMI Level 3 qualification or Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
. IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle
. IMI Level 3 F-Gas qualification:
Main dealer experience preferable but not essential
MOT tester, accreditation preferable but not essential
Ability to work accurately including Fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
Be able to use own initiative
Follow written & verbal instruction
Have an up to date knowledge of vehicle developments, new engine types and electronics
Have an awareness of health and safety regulations
Be familiar in operating an electronic VHC process
