Salary:     £23,638 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours:     40 hours per week | Monday to Friday

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and personal growth. Working alongside experienced teachers and specialists, you’ll help create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, understood, and encouraged to succeed.

You will:

• Work closely with pupils to guide and support their learning journeys
• Assist teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons
• Prepare learning materials and lead small group or one-to-one activities
• Support pupils’ emotional, social, and physical development
• Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning
• Contribute to both classroom-based and outdoor learning experiences
• Foster a positive, respectful, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from candidates who:

• Hold GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
• Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEN setting
• Are adaptable, compassionate, and proactive in their approach
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team
• Are confident supporting both structured learning and creative, outdoor activities
• Are motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with additional needs
