Location: BradfordPay: Daily rate to scaleContract Type: Supply (Long-Term & Short-Term Opportunities)

Academics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Bradford, covering both long-term and short-term placements.

This role offers flexibility alongside the opportunity to secure consistent work, delivering high-quality English lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Deliver pre-planned lessons for short-term cover and full schemes of work for long-term roles

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress (for long-term placements)

• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Support students' literacy, confidence, and academic development

• Work collaboratively with school staff and English departments

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

• Experience teaching English in secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Daily pay rate to scale
