About the Role:
We are currently working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the electrical installation on a new-build care home project, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing building services contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the electrical installation on a new-build care home project
Oversee the project from design and procurement through to completion and handover
Coordinate with mechanical, construction, and design teams to ensure seamless delivery
Liaise with the client, consultants, and subcontractors on all electrical matters
Monitor project progress and resolve issues to avoid delays
Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and site safety standards
Prepare and manage documentation including RAMS, progress reports, and cost forecasts
Supervise and support site-based electricians and subcontractors
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within the building services or construction sector
Background in new-build care homes, healthcare or residential projects preferred
Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and regulations (e.g. BS 7671)
SMSTS and valid ECS/CSCS card
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
