About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and creative SEN Teacher to join a vibrant primary special education setting that supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs. The provision offers a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to explore their potential through a personalised and engaging curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
- Support pupils with a range of needs including PMLD, ASD, and SEMH.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and support staff.
- Use creative approaches such as music, sensory activities, and outdoor learning to enhance engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
- Experience working in a special school or SEN setting.
- A nurturing, child-centred approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
