Mitie have a brand new opportunity for an motivated Class 2 HGV Driver to join their team in Bradford!

You will be working for our Client Cliniwaste, who are a leading waste management company within the UK providing safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions for the management of clinical wastes from healthcare. 

With a strong focus on compliance and sustainability, we serve healthcare institutions, laboratories, and healthcare professionals across the country.

In transport operations, safely transporting waste to disposal sites on assigned routes and schedules is paramount. Daily vehicle checks are essential to maintain optimal working conditions, with prompt reporting of any issues. Providing excellent customer service during collections is crucial, alongside meticulous documentation of deliveries for accountability. Adherence to regulations ensures safety and compliance, while effective communication within the team facilitates smooth coordination and issue resolution.

What we are looking for:

• Applicants must hold a clean UK driver's license,
• Prior experience is preferred, but is not mandatory,
• Physical fitness is crucial for lifting heavy items safely,
• ADR Class 6,
• Someone who is driven, organised and punctual,
• A client-focused approach and a strong emphasis on safety are integral aspects of the job.
