Female Support Worker (Full Time)

Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of an estanlished care provider,who are looking for a full time, female only, driver, for a full time Support Worker positon looking after a female with a Spinal Cord Injury (T2-T6 injury) in the Sheffield area .

We are looking for an experienced Support Worker with a strong healthcare background to provide high-quality care to patients with complex care needs in their home. You will play a vital part in encouraging the rehabilitation of the service user, therefore your full commitment to this package is essential.

This role will be full time, spending up to 6 weeks daily in rehabilitation working alongside client and healthcare teams to learn exercises and assist with transition home

• Independently completed bowel and bladder care carer to assist only if required
• Independent person care carer to assist only if required
• Home is accessible and renovated to allow independent living carer to enable
• Power wheelchair user
• Learning to drive wheelchair accessible drivable vehicle

.Requirements:

To be considered for the role, you must have a minimum of 1 years current work experience working with clients with spincal cord injuries, with proven training, and a right to work within the UK.

You will need to be a driver with a full time licence.
