Faculty
The Department of Social Work and Social Care delivers accredited Social Work programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It also hosts a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship which encompasses ongoing research on the subject of child abuse and child protection.
What you will be doing:
As part of the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship research project on ‘Child Protection in Pakistani Communities’, we are seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for an 18 months fixed-term contract. The duties are wide ranging, and the post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to the diverse demands of the role and be able to work with a high degree of responsibility and initiative. The post holder is expected to always maintain confidentiality and treat confidential information with tact and sensitivity as data collection will involve interactions with victims/survivors of child sexual abuse.
