Projects Engineer

NET Recruit are partnering with a manufacturing and engineering business to assist them on their search for a Projects Engineer in the Bradford area.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Managing procurement of all equipment and subcontract works for all assigned projects
• Building strong relationships with existing and potential customers, acting as a trusted point of contact
• Handling both in and outbound calls to suppliers, sales teams, customers, and stakeholders
• Communicating complex technical engineering activities to non-technical stakeholders
• Adapting to high-volume, fast-paced environments while keeping customers updated throughout each project
• Attending site visits with Sales Engineers and stakeholders, advising and producing costings and quotes for installation projects
• Participating in reviews of new projects to finalise designs of new orders at the commercial level
• Attending project handovers with customers to confirm scope and timeline requirements
• Producing detailed project plans and troubleshooting issues in technical engineering scenarios
• Coordinating equipment, parts, and subcontractors to achieve required deadlines
• Providing technical support to clients and sales engineers while coordinating projects
• Managing installations and commissioning of industrial cooling systems to ensure technical compliance to an acceptable standard
• Leading engineers and teams on site, ensuring contract agreements are met and health and safety standards are maintained
• Identifying resources and assigning responsibilities
• Controlling project finances, including budgeting and costs
• Assisting in identifying and resolving design flaws throughout projects

You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:

• Experience working as a Project Engineer
• Exposure to the manufacturing industry
• Excellent experience gained from working within a project management remit
• Strong communication skills
• IT aptitude, particularly in using Microsoft Office and CAD
• Driving license and ability to travel as required
