This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful market leader, and this key role will see you manage the transport team and drivers ensuring day to day goals are achieved.

Key duties of the Transport Manager will include:

• Lead and develop the transport team, including driver recruitment, training and performance management
• Plan, review and optimise delivery schedules for efficiency and service improvement
• Manage compliance, Operator's Licence and vehicle maintenance to ensure safe and legal fleet operations
• Oversee transport department P&L, monitoring costs and addressing overspend
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and agencies to secure reliable coverage
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and service levels
• Ensure professionalism and customer focus across the transport team and drivers
